Artist's Statement
At the time od 9/11 I was working on Dog Book. It seemed appropriate to dedicate a chapter to the Search and Rescue dogs and their officers that were searching 24/7 for clues of who perished. To that means I flew up to New York and interviewed officers, meeting many heroic individuals both canine and human. I did three small oil paintings from this visit but until now I have not really had the courage to figure out where they needed to be displayed. I would love if they could find a place in the 9/11 Museum or through the Police Museum in New York City. Please inform me as to where this work can best serve. With them I will send a couple copies of Dog Book too. Thank you for any information as to how to proceed.
