25 Years Later: A Transformed New York City

Following September 11, 2001, the momentum to rebuild lower Manhattan and heal after the attacks became a catalyst for a wider transformation across the city, reshaping the city’s economy, culture, and identity. In conversation with 9/11 Memorial & Museum President & CEO Beth Hillman, architect Vishaan Chakrabarti, Historian Kenneth T. Jackson, and Columbia Business School Professor Lynne Sagalyn will reflect on how New York City has transformed in the quarter century since the attacks.
