Our Physical Landscape

Today, the 9/11 Memorial & Museum stands at the heart of a rebuilt World Trade Center, the site of the 1993 and 2001 attacks. It features one of the largest open spaces in New York City, home to two acre-sized pools surrounded by 400 trees.

Inside the Museum

The Museum takes visitors 70 feet below ground and occupies 110,000 square feet of exhibition space including Memorial Hall and large artifacts like the Slurry Wall, the Last Column, and Ladder 3.
