Rachel Romer is Co-Founder and Executive Chair of Guild, a Public Benefit Corporation that provides employees of America’s largest companies access to education, skilling, and career mobility through their employers without paying for tuition or career services on their own. In the last year, more than 5 million Americans had access to Guild’s Career Opportunity Platform. Guild partners with the nation’s largest employers — including Walmart, Chipotle, Discover, Hilton, Target, The Walt Disney Company, and healthcare systems like Providence Health and UCHealth — to create cultures of opportunity that will help them attract and retain top talent and build the workforce of the future. Guild was named to TIME's list of the 100 Most Influential Companies, the Fortune Change the World List, and the Inc Best Led Companies List.
Rachel is a Trustee for the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee, a board member of the 9/11 Memorial & Museum and a Hunt Kean Leadership Fellow, focused on U.S. Education Policy. Prior to founding Guild in 2015, Rachel was the Founder and CEO of Student Blueprint, a community college advisor & team lead, and shed worked for the 2008 Obama campaign before serving in the Obama White House. Rachel holds an M.B.A. from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business as well as an M.A. in Education and B.A. in Political Science from Stanford University.
