Peter M. Lehrer
President & CEO, PML LLC
Peter M. Lehrer is an internationally recognized and highly respected leader in managing large-scale, complex construction projects. He is the Chief Executive Officer of PML LLC.
Recognizing a need to offer boutique construction consulting services to owners, developers, and institutions engaged in major capital projects, he founded owner’s advisory firm Lehrer, LLC in 1996 to provide construction consulting services to owners, developers, and institutions engaged in major capital projects who rely on experience, tenacity, and the ability to find logical, strategic, and economic solutions to complex problems.
When Lehrer, LLC merged with international construction consultant Cumming Corporation in 2018 to form Lehrer Cumming with Peter as the Chief Executive Officer, the firm expanded the breadth and depth of their expertise and enabled it to provide unmatched advisory services to its growing East Coast client base. An entrepreneur, Peter co-founded his first company in 1979, Lehrer McGovern, Inc. (now Lendlease), a construction management firm that consistently ranked as one of the top construction management companies in the country.
For more than four decades, Peter has been involved in a wide range of charitable endeavors. On a pro-bono basis, he has chaired several government commissions focused on reducing costs and improving efficiency for large multi-billion-dollar capital programs. Today, Peter is a member of the board of the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, the Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation, Montefiore Health System, and White Plains Hospital. He has also chaired several government commissions focused on reducing costs and improving efficiency for large multi-billion-dollar capital programs.
