Acts of terrorism tied to far-right extremists have increased dramatically in recent years. These attacks, “neither novel nor unprecedented,” are the latest flashpoints in the decades-long rise of far-right terrorism in the United States. In their book, God, Guns, and Sedition: Far-Right Terrorism in America, experts Bruce Hoffman and Jacob Ware trace the trajectory of this violent ideology, highlight its tactics, and outline the dangers it poses to our national security. In conversation with Museum Director Clifford Chanin, Hoffman and Ware share their analysis, offer historical context, and provide recommendations of how to address this continued threat.
