Photographer David Margules is credited for his historic capturing of the aftermath of September 11 and beyond in more than 10,000 photographs. These images capture every step of the recovery work in "the pit" that remained. Margules was one of the only civilians with access throughout the months-long recovery operation at the World Trade Center site. With special guest Monica Iken, Museum trustee and 9/11 family member, he signs copies of his book From Dust 'til Dawn: 20 Years After, a tribute to the tireless work of first responders and rescue and recovery workers, many of whom he developed close bonds with.
