Virginia S. Bauer was the Chief Executive Officer of GTBM Inc., located in East Rutherford NJ, from 2010-2022; she now serves as an advisor to the company.

GTBM Inc. provides software systems for law enforcement, municipalities, the federal government, and critical infrastructures.

Before her role at GTBM, Ms. Bauer had served in government for the State of NJ. In 2003, the director of the NJ Lottery was appointed. As Director, she Implemented many changes, resulting in one of the lottery's most successful years.

Mrs. Bauer served for their administrations as the Commerce Secretary for the State of New Jersey. She was the primary business advocate in this role, leading international trade, tourism, and urban redevelopment. Mrs. Bauer represented the State of NJ as Vice Chair of the BRAC Redevelopment Authority for Ft Monmouth, NJ.

In 2007, Governor Corzine appointed Mrs. Bauer to serve on the Board of Commissioners for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

Mrs. Bauer's involvement in government was a result of 9/11 when her husband, W. David Bauer, was killed In the Vi/TC. She immediately became an advocate for the 9/11 families, initiating federal tax legislation benefiting victim families and later helped form the 9/11 Commission. That passion continues in her role as a trustee and a member of the Executive Committee of the National 9/11 Memorial and Museum.

In 2018, Mrs. Bauer was appointed Director of Newmark Group, Inc. Newmark Group Inc. is a publicly-traded company operating a full-service commercial real estate service business that offers a full suite of services and products for owners and occupiers across the entire commercial real estate industry.

In January 2020, Mrs. Bauer was appointed by New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy as a Director of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority. Mrs. Bauer is also a member of the NY Economic Club. She also served on many nonprofit organizations in her community such as Monmouth Medical Center, The Peddie School, and Monmouth University
