Born and raised in the Bronx. Moved to California in 1976-77. Always a true New Yorker. When 911 occurred, I was informed that volunteer physicians were needed down at St Pauls. I made the call and scheduled my block. With my son Todd, we flew to NYC. It was early October . I treated over forty patients, from firefighters, police to other volunteers. I recall their stories and their pain.
When I returned home I decided to create a collage - probably more for therapy than anything else. I had gathered newspapers over those first few days and physically began cutting and changing the hues and altering the image size ignorer to express my thought and my HOPE.
