The 9/11 Flight Crew Memorial in Grapevine Texas just outside of Dallas Forth Worth Airport. This magnificent memorial has been created by Valerie Thompson, American Airlines hostess and her Artist & Sculptor Husband, Dean Thompson. It honor all of the pilots, flight crew and passengers that were lost on 911. One of the most heart wrenching sculptures is a small child holding a teddy bear which brought me to tears that not onlly did we loose many wonderful adults on 911, but we also lost children, something that many of us do not think about when we think about September 11, 2001. There is another memorial in NJ featured on the opening page of my website, the Eagle Rock September 11th Memorial which remembers all the children lost that day on 911. God Bless them all!
