With a wide-ranging mix of international and domestic stories, “VICE” on HBO takes viewers from conflict zones in the Middle East and Africa to the frontlines of global social issues. Correspondents and producers share behind-the-scenes insights from the show’s fifth season, which features an in-depth look at Mosul’s slow crawl to liberation from ISIS and what the future holds for the Iraqi children recruited to fight with ISIS.
