Cris Italia (left) and Carmen Lynch are mainstays of the New York City comedy scene. Lynch is a comedian, actress, and writer. Italia, a former volunteer EMT, is co-owner of The Stand, one of Manhattan's top comedy clubs. On 9/11, Lynch was working in lower Manhattan and Italia responded to the attacks. Together in conversation with Noah Rauch, Senior Vice President of Education & Public Programs, they reflect on 9/11, how it changed the trajectory of their careers, and the role of comedy in the aftermath of tragedy.
