Screening: "Dust: The Lingering Legacy of 9/11"

Visionary Bridget Gormley’s powerful documentary "Dust: The Lingering Legacy of 9/11" explores the lasting health impacts faced by thousands of 9/11 responders and survivors. We proudly welcome Visionaries to screen the film in the Museum’s Auditorium on July 23rd at 5:30 p.m. You can learn more about the film here and RSVP to the screening by emailing visionary@911memorial.org.

Volunteer Opportunity: Bowery Mission
Tuesday, July 29 at 5 p.m. 

Join the Visionary Network at the Bowery Mission's Tribeca Campus located at 90 Lafayette Street, New York. Help their chefs serve dinner to over 100 residents. Tasks may include serving hot food, preparing drinks, limited meal prep, and cleaning up. On September 11, 2001, Carlton Shelley II was a student at Emma E. Booker Elementary School in Sarasota, Florida. That day, President George W. Bush was visiting another class of students at the school when he was informed of the attacks.

Visionary Network Launches Memorial Beautification Initiative
The 9/11 Memorial & Museum Visionary Network has launched an initiative aimed at restoring and cleaning local memorials across the country. Volunteers are already hard at work, planting commemorative trees and connecting with their communities ahead of the 20th anniversary of the September 11 attacks.
