The 9/11 Memorial is a national tribute of remembrance and honor to the nearly 3,000 people killed in the terror attacks of February 26, 1993 and September 11, 2001.

The 9/11 Memorial is open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The Memorial is located at the site of the former World Trade Center complex and occupies approximately half of the 16-acre site. The Memorial features two reflecting pools, each about an acre in size, set within the footprints of the original twin towers. The Memorial Plaza is one of the most eco-friendly plazas ever constructed. More than 400 trees are on the plaza, surrounding the reflecting pools.
